The first of my several tips for all your sports picks for any gambler is the need to research the teams and how they have historically matched up in recent meetings. Assume Team A is the favorite, then the bettor may have to risk $150 to win $100. If the bettor believes Team B has a good chance of winning (again, this is even up and without a point spread) the oddsmakers may return $130 for every $100 bet. The greater the disparity between the teams the higher the money line on the favorite and the more money returned on the underdog.
